Plans & Books

We carry in the region of 30 different clock plans and books covering clock case assembly, clock repair and maintenance from both English and American publishers. Our plans cover mantel clocks, Vienna regulators, grandfather, grandmother, granddaughter, wall clocks and bracket clocks. The plans are fully detailed and include step by step instructions with suggestions for suitable movements and dials.

2.04m high, base 43.6cm, 24.5cm deep (6'8"x17"x10"). A country grandfather clock by Thomas Clare c.1770. This has typical North West country features with oak casework, cross banding on the hood and waist, a caddy top and ogee feet.

1.2m high, 30cm wide, 17cm deep. (3'11"x12"x6"). Based on a Laterndluhr Vienna regulator c. 1830. The case is of fine proportions with mahogany framework and maple stringing to the doors and sidelights.

The plans are scaled in both metric and imperial units with full instructions for building these fine pieces.
